The Accidental Prime Minister: Petition filed against Anupam Kher film in Bihar
The latest upcoming movie, “The Accidental Prime Minister” has been facing lot of legal allegations lately. Recently, a legal case has been filed against Anupam Kher and other people associated with the movie. The case has been filed by a lawyer for tarnishing the image of known people of the country.
The movie, “The Accidental Prime Minister” is based fully on a book written by the media adviser of the former PM, Manmohan Singh, Sanjaya Baru.
The petition was filed by Lawyer Sudhir Kumar Ojha in Muzaffarpur’s Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court. The date January 8 is fixed by teh court for the further proceedings.
The lawyer filed a complaint as he felt the image of the government leaders have been tarnished to a great extent by the movie and its actors.
He said,
“It hurt me and many others,”
“Others who have played the role of UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra also damaged their image.”
The lawyer has filed the petition against the producer and the film director also.
