Bhumi’s reply to her movie: Bhumi Pednekar is seen in the hot news due to the controversial dialogue on marital sex from her upcoming flick, “Pati Patni Aur Woh”. As soon as this trailer was out on television and online, havoc was created among people as it was seen hurting the emotional sentiments of people. Bhumi, one of the lead actors in the movie has apologized to people for the same.

“Biwi se sex maang lein toh hum bhikhari, biwi ko sex na dein toh hum atyachari aur kisi tarah jugaad laga ke usse sex haasil kar lein na toh balatkari bhi hum hain”. The movie “Pati Patni Aur Woh” is starring Bhumi Pednekar, Kartik Aaryan, and Ananya Pandey.

This is because, the dialogue is said to speak in favor of marital rape which is not accepted by society.
Recently Bhumi was also seen in the interview talking about the much-criticized dialogue. She said;
“If they have hurt anybody’s sentiments, they are sorry because that wasn’t the intention. But everybody who is involved in Pati Patni Aur Woh does not belong to that school, does not belong to that thought process.”
Bhumi Pednekar also added;
“Mudassar (Aziz, the director) has always celebrated women. Bhumi’s films say a lot about what she feels about her gender and what she is trying to do. They are constantly working towards reducing the gender gap. So, she is not going to be a part of anything that will increase it. She has said ‘no’ to a lot of movies where they were ready to pay her s**t tons of money but she didn’t do those films. Those films have gone on to become massive hits.”

Mudassar is the director of this film starring Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Pandey. This movie is a remake of the Bollywood movie Pati Patni Aur Woh (1978). Through the reports and interviews given by the star cast, we can conclude that the movie will be a perfect mix of drama, comedy, love story and lots and lots of fun. Although, this movie has received a lot of criticism for its first trailer. However, we can hope that this film will do wonders at the box office.
