Batting first MI given a decent score of 150 to chase, However SRH couldn’t managed to achieve in 20 overs and lost the match by 13 runs in last over. MI bowlers played an important role to defend a low score for there team. Rahul Chahar, Jaspreet Bumrah and Trend Bolt bowled very tight and bagged the victory for there team. This is the second win of Mumbai Indians in the IPL Season 9, on the other side SRH to face third consecutive loss in the tournament.

After this defeat SRH is now at the bottom of the points table and must needs to win next matches to be in the tournament. Mumbai Indians just lost one match and now after this win become the leader on points table.
