Delhi University Admissions 2019 Begins, All You Need to Know About is Here!

Just like every year, this year is also exciting and challenging for students who are planning to take admission in “DELHI UNIVERSITY”. Taking admission in du is the dream of every student and getting admission in a good du college is just like a dream come true! Now when the admission has started there are many important things that you need to know and those are as follows-


• Make Sure You Register Properly-
It is really important to register properly before you go to any college for admission. Registration of all the courses and students will be online. Students have to calculate the best four marks and check the cut off list. Students can register themselves on the website www.du.ac.in and register themselves properly.

• Carry Your Documents-
Don’t forget to carry your documents, as the whole admission process is incomplete without taking your documents along. The important documents to carry along with yourself are
1. Scanned signature of the student
2. Self-attested passport-sized photograph
3. Self Attested and original copy of Xth Board Marksheet
4. Original and self-attested copy of XII mark sheet
5. Other important documents( migration certificate, school leaving certificate, character certificate, etc)
6. Self-attested copy of income certificate
7. Self-attested copy of sports/a certificate
8. Self-attested copy of SC/ST/OBC/PWD/KM/CW if applicable.

• Do Check The Eligibility Criteria-
The candidate applying should be at least above 18 yrs, he /she should be an Indian Citizen. NRI Students can apply through a different procedure. Also, the candidate should have the minimum eligibility marks fulfilled and should have all the things that are mentioned in the university guidelines.
• The Evening Colleges-
Delhi University has an evening college admissions as well so you need to be sure about the evening college thing. The process for evening college admissions generally stays between 11 am to 5 pm. All the formalities and procedures remain the same but there is a time difference between admission and classes.

• EWS Category-
From this year onwards there will be a separate admission category for economically weaker section students. They will be getting a 10% reservation in the seats. Delhi University committee will release a separate cut off for the EWS students this year onwards.
