Yesterday, Noida witnessed unusual fall of rain and hails, making us believe we are residing in a hill station. All the roads and streets were covered in a beautiful white blanket of snow.
Besides Noida turned into a snowy wonderland. Along with this came lots of traffic, blocked roads flooding with pipelines and many others. Noida’s Sector 93, Sector 137 and Yamuna Expressway were few of the places which witnessed heavy hail storm. The temperature has dropped down to 15 degrees on Thursday.
This is not it, many chartered flights were diverted out of Delhi because of the severe weather conditions.
Pictures of heavy hail storm on the streets of Delhi are going viral over the internet and social media. It was after decade, Delhi witnessed such change in the weather conditions. People were shocked and at the same time in full awe of the sudden changed weather.
weather department bulletin said ;
“Minimum temperatures are likely to fall by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius over northwest India from February 8. A fresh western disturbance is likely to affect the whole of northwest India from February 10 onwards.”
