The heart warming news of Ekta Kapoor entering motherhood was confirmed by Mumbai Mirror. It was announced that Ekta gave birth to a baby boy, Ravie via Surrogacy.
The baby boy was born on 27th January and it has been confirmed by media and doctors, that both the mother and child is keeping healthy. Ekta Kapoor is sister of Tushar Kapoor. Earlier in the year 2016, Tushar had also decided to follow the path of a single parent. Later welcomed his son Laksshya.
Tushar in the year 2016 said;
“Initially my parents were a little bit apprehensive whether I should announce the child to be one born through IVF and surrogacy or not,” but added that: “Everybody in the country has been very accepting. That was a bit surprising for me because I thought there would be diverse views, some kind of ‘oohs and ahas’ about it, all kinds of opinion. But nothing of that sort happened. Especially the media has been so supportive of Laksshya and my choice of having a family in this manner.”
