Emotional Bollywood movies that will make you cry

Bollywood movies always hold a special place in our life. We fantasize our life to be similar as shown in these emotional Bollywood movies. Few of them make us laugh while few leave us with teary eyes. We love happy endings but not all endings are happy, some leave us with a long-lasting scar on our mind.

So here are all those emotional Bollywood movies which made us cry:

Dhadak (2018):

Inspired by South Indian movie Sairat, Ishaan Khattar’s and Jhanvi’s debut movie Dhadak surely left us teary-eyed towards the end. Based on honor killing, the movie surprised us at the end, just when we thought everything is going to be fine, and the happy ending was awaited, things turned upside down. The brutal killing of the protagonist’s husband and one-year-old child left us with nothing but tears.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015):

Another emotional Bollywood movie that we love to cry for is Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The movie marked the debut of little Harshali Malhotra. The innocent bond and an honest effort of India’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan to help Pakistani little girl to take her back home is a pure bliss. The border crossing scene at the end must have left even stone hearted people cry.

Chak De India (2007):

If the final winning goal of the match didn’t give you the goosebumps, then you are not an emotional person. The way Shahrukh Khan took his mother back to her home with all the pride, surely made us drop few tears.

Tere Naam (2003):

Another Salman Khan’s movie Tere Naam is one of the saddest movies he has done so far. But we love to watch the sadness of this movie. The way he spends his days in a mental asylum, even after being normal is heart-wrenching, and the emotions he showed after finding his lady love died surely made us cry our heart out.

Sholay (1975):

As they say “Old is Gold”, this movie is a perfect example of the same. It has its share of comedy, romance, and action, but what we not expected is emotional end where Jai died. Just when we thought that Radha is going to find happiness in her life, she had something else in her destiny. And then Veeru, he was left alone without his partner in crime.
