Due to low ridership and long journey time the Nodia Metro is strating fast trains from tomorrow, these trains are just same trains and won’t run on high speed. Only difference is they will not halt on ten specified stations to reduce ride time in peak hours.
Metro trains on Aqua line will not stop on 10 stations in morning 8 to 11 am and evening 5 to 8 pm on weekdays. Office and home going riders will take benefit of this to reach early on there destinations.
The Noida Metro Rail Corporation has proposed this change earlier this month and finally it is going to be implemented from Monday 8th February 2021. There are total 21 stations on Aqua line from sector 51 to Depot station.
These Stations Will Be Skipped By Fast Trains:
Sector-50, Sector-101, Sector-81, Sector-83, Sector-143, Sector-144, Sector-145, Sector-146, Sector-147 and Sector-148
Tickets will not be sold on these stations during peak hours.
This will help Greater Noida metro to redu e travel time from 45 minutes to 37 minutes. However the run time from sector 51 to Pari chowk metro station will be 28 minutes which will attract more commuters on this route.
On weekdays trains will run every 7.5 minutes in peak hours and every 15 minutes on normal hours and also on weekends normal hours time will be followed.
