In India, Holi is just not a usual festival as its the firm belief of ours that good wins over the bad spirit of the day.
The origin comes of celebrating Holi from the worship of a little boy who’s name was Praladh and he was the only son of Asur Raj Mahisasur who was a firm believer of Asur Raj throughout the universe. but lord Vishnu who is above all he appears out from a pillar and destroys the Asur raj and his sister Holika and saves the innocent boy Praladh from his father.
In India, Holi means a lot when it comes serving to the relatives when they come over to put Gullal and eat Gujiya and have fun. and this brings to the lunch which everybody looks forward to and gets with the sweet smell of love and respect. In the present day, Holi is limited to alcohol and partying which have lessened down the true meaning of Holi and some have become morons enough to tease girls on roads and damage the public property. But the true spirit of Holi is that one must believe in God as he is the one who can help you with all your life goals. and trust him even if there are challenges to come and this and let you down but never give up and fight till the last.
