Every tale is true when it comes to these legendary “Freedom fighters”

Freedom fighters in India- Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Subhash Chandra Bose, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, B.R. Ambedkar, Lala Lajpat Rai, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev,… and so on. There are many freedom fighters who were inked in every book of a school going, kid. There are many freedom fighters who are having roads by their names. There are many freedom fighters, whose birthdays are mentioned globally.
But, there are few who are unmemorized and unknown to the world. So, here are the seven unknown freedom fighters listed below:

ARUNA ASAF ALI

Indian Independence Activist, and widely remembered for hoisting the National flag at the Gowalia Tank maidan in Bombay, at the time of the Quit India Movement, 1942. After Independence, she was Delhi’s first Mayor.

BHIKAJI CAMA

freedom fighters of India- Yes, there are many roads and buildings you have heard of after the name of her in the country. But, few people know her story. She was a part of the Indian Independence Movement and also known as a figure for gender equality. She helped orphanage girls with her personal effects. In Stuttgart, Germany, in1907, she unfurled the Indian Flag at the International Socialist Conference.

GOPAL KRISHNA GOKHALE

The mathematician whose career and convictions paralleled with that of Bal Gangadhar Tilak, a part of the congress. It is said that he was the mentor of Both Gandhi and Jinnah. He was a proponent of expanding education in the Indian Society. he was the founder of servants of India Society and kept working towards this goal, till his last breath.

BAJI ROUT

He was only 13, and he lay down his life for the nation. The reason for lay down was that he refused to ferry British Police across the Brahmani river, currently present in Odisa. Without any fear, he bravely took their bullets for his mother earth.

VEER VINAYAK DAMODAR SAVARKAR

A poet by heart, who wrote nationalist poems on the walls of Kala Paani with a chisel, none other than, he was Veer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. He didn’t believe in compliance with the British Raj and had a heroic life, escaping Kala Paani, twice.

UDHAM SINGH

freedom fighters of India- Do you know Udham Singh also known as Ram Mohammad Singh Azad? Yes, you read it correctly. he was the man who took revenge on the biggest massacre of nation, Jalianwala Bagh Massacre. It is said that he adopted this name before dying, which doesn’t point any religion.

BINOY, BADAL & DINESH

We know, that most people don’t know their name, but the story of this trio will shake your world. Their full names are Badal Gupta, Dinesh Gupta, and Benoy Basu. they all belong to Bengal. The Trio is remembered together for their attack on the Dalhousie Square in Kolkata. The three of them dressed up themselves as a European man, they went to Dalhousie Square and killed Simpson, they did not wish to get arrested. So, Badal consumed poison and the other two shot themselves with their revolvers.
