Rani Laxmibai

She was married to the king of Jhansi at the tender age of 12. Post demise of her husband the manangement and handeling of the entire province came on her shoulder. But with all her will she protected her estate and people from the evil British who tried to over power the estate in the absence of male head. She fought remarkebaly for the period of 7 days and was martyred during the war in Gwalior. The move by Rani Laxmibai shook all the resistance that were a part of women then.
Sarojni Naidu
Sarojni Naidu well know as “The Nightingale of India”. Her well crafted art of poetry studded with impactful and powerful words got het this title. To join hands to retain India’s freedom Ms. Naidu got together with the Indian National Congress. That was primarily designed to unitedly stand againt the British Governement. And post joining she became the party’s first woman president.
Savitribai Phule

Mahadevi Verma

Mahadevi Verma was a great freedom fighter who followed the Gandhian laws of peace and non-violence to attain freedom. She was a great educationist and vice-chancellor of Prayag Mahila Vidyapeeth. She believed that education and literary work has enough power to attain freedom from all the evil.
Capt Laxmi Sehgal
Name not herd often but her contribution to the fredom struggle can not be avoided. Capt. Laxmi Seghal was a doctor by profession. After completion of her course she and her entire family decided to contribute in India’s freedom struggle. She collaborated with Netaji Subahsh Chandra bose to create and lead the first women regiment Indian National army.
Basanti Devi
Her fierce attitude that revoke after her husband got arrested by the British Governement. The fire was so great that she joined all the movements that were hels against the Brittish Government be it the Non-cooperation movement, Civil Disobedience movement, Khilafat Movement, or else. Active participation and an attitude of her’s to free India led him to the bars and became first women to get court arrest.
Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay
Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay was the first female to promote the Indian crafts that were then highlihgted to be used against the British produce. Through theartres and physical presnce in various freedom movements she gained utter faome as a great freedom fighter.
