Facebook-owned photo-video sharing social site Instagram’s new tool will prevent incidents such as Boys Locker Room and Revenge Porn. While the investigation of the Boys Locker Room, which is under the media headlines, is only done by the cyber cell of the Delhi Police, a Facebook spokesperson said in his statement on behalf of Instagram that using any kind of sexual violence on our platform are against polices. We are particularly concerned about the safety of women and youth. We cannot allow any harassment. The priority is to keep the platform safe and respected by all. Site too serious on the threat
Instagram has said in its statement that it does not allow private photos to be uploaded without consent if anyone does so, the social site policy includes the action to remove the content and delete the person’s account. According to Instagram, even if someone threatens to take private photos without consent, it is also taken seriously. While Instagram adopted Photo DNA technology for this, it has developed a tool called Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (NCII) to prevent incidents of revenge porn and the insertion of personal photos.

Facebook has developed this tool to help people. When people share their photos without their consent, this content is called revenge porn and is reported to the site similarly. We can prevent it from being shared on Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram.
It uses Artificial Intelligence with machine learning. With the new tool, we can now actively detect nude photos or videos that have been shared without permission on Facebook and Instagram.
If photos or videos violate our community standards, we will remove it and in most cases, we will also close that account to share intimate content without permission. If someone believes that he has made a mistake, an appeal option has been kept for this.
How to report on NCII:

What is photo DNA technology?
In this technique, each photo has a unique digital signature known as a hash. It gets registered in the database. Instagram takes the help of this database in case of need or to search and compare photos. This makes it easy to find out in real and tamper photos.
