IPL 2021 Auction is scheduled this month for the 14th edition of the IPL cricket tournament. A mini-auction event is happing on 18th Feb in Chennai where the final 292 players will take part. Total 1114 players have registered for the auction in which the final list of 292 players has been prepared for mini-auction.
BCICI has put the maximum base price of rupees 2 crores for this auction, players like Harbajan Singh, Kedar Jadhav, Glen Maxwell, Steve Smith, Moin Ali, Jason Roi will be closely watched in this auction.
In this auction total, 12 players have been kept for a base price of 1.5 crores, while the 11 players are in 1 crore base price in which Indian cricketer Hanuma Vihari and Umesh Yadav names are included. In the base price of 75 Lakhs, there are 15 players, and the rest 65 players are kept in 50 lakh base price. There are 13 Indian players and 52 foreign players in this 65 players list.

Due to covid-19 there are chances that tournament will either be played with limited attendance or at some other location in the world. Kings XI Punjab have the highest purse and this will help the franchise to buy the best players in the IPL tournament at any cost. BCCI yet not declared the official sponsor but most likely previous Dream11 will get the sponsorship for the tournament.
