JEE Mains examination is conducted for admission to the undergraduate engineering courses, i.e., B.E. and B.Tech. in the top engineering institutes in the country. - More than 2,50,000 students appeared for the JEE Mains examination who will be appearing in the JEE Advanced 2020.
- As per the notification released by NTA, a total of 11 candidates scored 100 percentile in the JEE Mains 2020 entrance exam.

How To Check The JEE Mains 2020 Result?
Candidates can check their JEE Mains entrance examination result on the official website of JEE Mains. Below are given the steps to check the JEE Main 2020 Result:
- Visit the official website of JEE Mains or National Testing Agency (NTA) to check the result of JEE Mains.
- After going to the website, click on the View Result/ Scorecard tab.
- Now, Candidates have to enter the JEE Mains Application Number, Password, Date of Birth and the Security pin.
- After submitting the required details, the JEE Mains 2020 results will be displayed online.
- Candidates can now download or print the JEE Mains 2020 scorecard.
JEE Mains 2020 Expected Cut Off Category Wise
Cut off is the minimum mark that is required by the candidate to clear any examination. The JEE Mains cut off depends on various factors like the number of candidates appearing for the examination, difficulty level of the paper, previous year cut off, etc. The expected cut off for the JEE Mains 2020 paper category wise is given below:
- To the Common Rank List category the expected cut off marks are 89.75
- For General and EWS the expected cut off marks id 78.21
- For OBC-NCL, ST and SC the expected cut off marks are 74.31, 44.33 and 54.01 respectively.
How can candidate take benefit of the January session result
Now, NTA conducts JEE Main twice a year, Candidates have the benefit to appear twice in a year. If a candidate is not satisfied with his/her result then he/she can appear in the second session.
Candidates must examine their mistakes in the January session exam and take advantage of it. Work on those weak sections to appear in the next session of JEE Main 2020. Use these two months to prepare well in the coming session of JEE Main 2020.
