Lockdown 5.0: The entire world is dealing with the corona crisis. It seems that life has come to a stop. But no more now, other than containment zones, unlocking this lockdown is about to begin. The current corona count of India is 182,143 total cases, 89,974 active cases, 86, 984 recovered, and 5,185 deceased cases.
Lockdown 5.0 is currently applicable to all the containment zones declared by MHA. Only essential services are about to open in these areas till 30th June. And the movement will remain restricted till the lockdown 5.0 phase gets over.
Unlocking is about to begin
The economic fall of the nation is forcing to bring things to normal otherwise dealing with the crisis won’t be possible anymore. So to check for the up heeling cases and balancing the economy government has announced 3 phases of lockdown that will come to action in all areas except the containment zones.
For the areas where phase 1 of unlocking is about to come in action, late-night movements i.e. from 9 pm to 5 am is still restricted.
Phase l
This phase of unlocking will come into action after 8th June. With various freedoms as mentioned below:
- Religious places or places of worship will open and the public can visit these, following the complete norms of social distancing.
- Restaurants, hotels, and various hospitality services are to open with complete safety norms.
- Shopping malls and complexes are set to open.
- Interstate movement is allowed.
MHA is about to generate guidelines for the Standard Operating Procedure of the above-mentioned practice. But social distancing and self-care will be the baseline.
Phase ll
Guidelines for unlocking services in this phase will be generated in the month of July. The prioritized services to open include:
- With complete consultation with the educational authorities, state government, and parents complete norms and decision to open schools and colleges will come up in July.
- The decision to reopen will take in July
But for this MHA will issue guidelines for Standard Operating Procedure of these services. And again social distancing and precaution at the level of self will be the baseline.
Phase lll
The tentative dates for the application of this phase are about to come. And the dates will be finalized after monitoring the conditions that will come upon the application of phase 1 and 2. Phase lll will include the following services:
- Re-opening of international air services.
- Metro services will come into action.
- Gymnasium, cinema halls, swimming pools, theatre, parks, auditorium, assembly halls, and similar places like this will open up.
- Social meetings such as sports, public gathering, functions will be permitted.
In states with a large number of containment or non-containment zones services like Interstate person or goods transport are permitted. And all states will have only a permit of assembly of 50 persons for marriage purposes and 20 for any funeral activity.
This was all about the unlocking phases of this lockdown. Amid these MHA guidelines are still to come. As the spread of this virus is increasing rapidly so be safe to keep others safe and help to break the chain of this virus.
