A man jumped on the metro track at Rajiv Chowk, Metro lines disrupted

An incident of a man jumping on the metro tracks at the Rajiv Chowk metro station on Tuesday has shocked the people. The services of the metro on that route were temporarily suspended because of the man allegedly jumping on the track. Although, the man has been saved and is being treated at Lady Hardinge Hospital.

The yellow line is known to be one of the busiest metro routes in Delhi, NCR. When this incident occurred, the metro was implying on its usual route towards Samaypur Badli from Rajiv Chowk.

As soon as the man jumped on the services were suspended. Just immediately, after the body of the injured man was removed from the track, the services were resumed.

Metro since many years has been the bridging gap for all the common public to their far destinations. Although, DMRC has witnessed few incidents like these, where people allegedly jumped on the metro tracks to end their lives.
