MS Dhoni is India’s biggest cricket hero. On 15 August Saturday, he announced his retirement from the international cricket career. After announcing his retirement from the international cricket team he left his fans surprised. As we all know that Dhoni took retirement from test cricket in December 2014. There was a deep thought as to when Dhoni will hang his boots in international cricket. He also took a break from the game after the ICC ODI World Cup this year. MS Dhoni joined the regiment of the Indian army.

Although Dhoni is not an active member of social media, still he added a post on his official Instagram account,” Thanks a lot for your love throughout from 1929 hrs consider me as retired.” Looking back towards his career, he led India to win all ICC trophies such as the 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 World Cup, 2013 Champions Trophy. He expressed India with 90 tests, 350 ODIs, and 98 T20s.

Dhoni also reunited with the CSK boys such as Suresh Raina, Deepak Chahar, Piyush Chawla, Karn Sharma a day before he took retirement. There are many people who were excited to see him on the grounds of the cricket field. But, nobody thought about his retirement from international cricket. As the president of BCCI, Sourav Ganguly quoted for MS Dhoni,

It is the end of the era. What a player he has been for the country and world cricket. His leadership qualities have been something, which will be hard to match, especially in the shorter format of the game. His batting in one day cricket in his early stages made his flair and natural brilliance. Every good thing comes to an end and this has been an absolutely brilliant one. He has set the standards for the wicket-keepers to come and make a mark for the country. He will finish with no regrets on the field.

You should be proud of what you have achieved. Congratulations on giving your best to the game. I am proud of your accomplishments and the person you are! I am sure you must have held those tears to say goodbye to your passion. People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.
