NCRTC: Delhi to Meerut in just 60 minutes by New Rapid Rail Corridor

These are the days our country is on the path of fast and steady development. NCRTC quoted; People can now travel to Meerut from Delhi in just 60 minutes via New Rapid rail Corridor. This rapid would travel at the speed of 150 Km/hr and will not stop in the mid-way. This is one of the biggest blessing for the people who daily slog themselves via Delhi and Meerut. The project will be soon completed and the travelers will be able to make use of this Rapid.

It is an RRTS project which would also be implemented in different parts of the capital city as the time progresses. The project is undergoing rapid developments as it was started just few months ago. Not many people are aware of the fact that this is the first ever RRTS project via whole Delhi-NCR. This project of New Rapid Rail Corridor has been started by NCRTC.

Some of the major features of the upcoming New Rapid Rail Corridor by NCRTC

  1. This service of rail via Delhi and Meerut would be highly comfortable and speedy commuting service for the people who travel on these routes. The frequency of the rail will also be more than average. Hence, people will not have to wait for a longer period of time.
  2. It is not similar to the metro services in different countries. It is so because this service is suitable for people who are willing to travel for longer distances. whereas, on the other hand metro services stop at very short interval of distances.
  3. According to the survey conducted by NCRTC, it was found out that the new rapil rail corridor will be about 3-4 times faster as compared to the metro services. Their average running speed would be 100 Km/hr and the maximum speed would be 150 Km/hr.
  4. The frequency of the rapid rail would be for every 5-10 minutes. The phase 1 o this rapid rail will be adjoining to Delhi Metro at 7 major stops.
  5. The the bus feeder services will also run via these routes to ensure the comfort of passengers.
  6. Amount close to 1000 crore has already been spend by Narendra Modi on the behalf of the Indian Government for the work of NCRTC.

The citizens of our country to bought to notice that the work of the same has been growing so fast that most of the key developments have already taken place. The travelling to Meerut via Delhi would become entirely comfortable in a very less time than ever.
