Padma Shree Awardees 2020: In the middle of the ceremonies of the 71st Republic Day, some names were highlighted. They were awarded the Padma Shree. A total of 118 recipients were highlighted on the eve of Republic day. The Padma Shri Awards are the fourth highest civilian awards of the country, after the Bharat Ratna. The final list of names of the awardees is announced by the government on January 25. Awardees were announced on Sunday when the whole nation was witnessing the celebrations of the republic day. As this republic day hosted some best drills and activities. which showcased the bravery and power of India. With a few foreign delegates present from different countries. the army lead convoys were the best glimpse to capture with the naked eyes, and the drills performed were outstanding and overwhelming. Padma Shree Awardees 2020
Jagdish Lal Ahuja, awarded for selflessly organizing langars, for a small public gathering of around 500 people every day for two decades. his mission has been respected by the government and has awarded him with Padma Shree.
Javed Ahmad Tak, a man on a mission from Kashmir, who is helping out the young specially-abled children for two decades.
And Amoung Other hero is the name of another Padma Shree Bhushan awardee, Tulasi Gowda, known as the encyclopaedia of the forest. due to her vast knowledge of diverse species of plants and herbs without having a proper education.
Another Padma awardee, ‘Mohammed Sharif aka ‘Chacha Sharif’, is a “bicycle mechanic who has been performing the last rites of thousands of unclaimed dead bodies for the last 25 years”. He has performed the last rites of more than 25,000 unclaimed bodies in and around Faizabad. He has never differentiated on the basis of religion, he performs last rites in accordance with the person’s religious practices- cremating Hindus and burying Muslims.
