Unlock 2.0 guidelines: This is what unlocking believes in, even after hiking patient count. Union of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) released the complete set of guidelines for Unlock phase 2. Which is completely applicable from 1st July 2020 to 31st July 2020. But these guidelines are applicable only areas other than containment zones. Because hot spots or containment zones will continue with lockdown till 31st July 2020 and will have access only to the essential services.
A new list of present containment zones will soon be released by MHA which will be under strictly monitored by the government.
Guidelines that have not changed
Few rules that were implemented during lockdown 5.0 are to continue without any change in Unlock phase 2 according to the guidelines.
- A large gathering is still not permitted.
- Marriage: The only a maximum of 50 people can gather.
- Funeral: Not more than 20 people can witness a funeral ceremony.

Activities that will occur in areas others than containment zones
- Schools, colleges, and institutions to remain close till 31st July 2020. But the online classes will remain working.
- Training institution of the central and state government to resume from 15th July 2020. And for this SOPs will be generated soon.
- International travel under certain conditions.
- Metro services, gymnasium, swimming pool, entertainment parks, theatres, assembly halls, and similar places to resume their services. But the dates of the resume have yet not been generated. Soon dates will be released along with SOPs for all the services that will have social distancing as the baseline.
- Domestic flights will continue to work.
- Night curfew will still be imposed, but relaxation in time has been observed i.e. from 10 p.m.- 5 a.m. But relaxation to those has been given which have odd shifts of job.
- Sports, entertainment, academic, social/political, and regional functions are permitted but large gatherings are still not permitted.
- Shramik, Special, and Rajdhani trains to keep working as per their schedule.
Directives generated by government to fight against COVID-19
- The face mask is compulsory
- Social distancing to be followed strictly.
- Spitting in public is prohibited, doing this will be considered as a punishable offense.
- Consumption of any kind of sedative in public is barred.
- The use of Arogya Setu is promoted by the government.
- Extra precaution and protection of elderly people above the age of 65 and kids below the age of 10 are emphasized.

Repercussions of not abiding by the directives
If anyone who tries to play foul, claims false, or refuses to follow the directives generated by the Government of India will have to bear serious repercussions of it. He/she will be punished according to the range of offense he/she does.
