Tej Pratap Dons Lord Shiva Avatar Offers Prayers In Patna

Tej Pratap

“Service to mankind is service to God”
This quote is extremely apt in this present juncture of time as it quite relevant from the present mindset of the society. Most often, hard work pays off but the faith in the
Almighty God has often been the key to success that we human being often term as “Luck”.

As the time of July- Aug is often regarded as the “SHRAVAN” Months, people from various parts of the country offer their offerings to Lord Shiva as a symbol of worship. The religious devotees of Hinduism consider ‘Shravan’, a holy and religious month dedicated to spiritual practices and religious offerings to Lord Shiva as a symbol of “Victory Over Evil”.

Many Hindus from different parts of the country during this month observe fasting, especially on Mondays, which are dedicated to Lord Shiva for his worship and are known as ‘Shravan Somvar Vrat’. According to the Hindu mythology
and mythological legends mentioned in Hindu Vedas and Puranas, the holy month of Shravan is dedicated to worshipping Lord Shiva for success, victory over evil
marriage ,serenity and prosperity.

As Lord Shiva is also known as the “God of Tantra” according to the Hindu Mythology, some followers consider performing ‘Tantra’ during this month, beneficial and better for their lives.

This is the month wherein the followers believe that Lord Shiva grants abundant boon and blessings to
devotees, who repent for their mistakes and ask for success, evade negative energy, change themselves to better human beings, banish bad luck, etc. This is the period and eventually the way out wherein one attracts the blessings of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.

Eventually, eminent persons are also great followers of their religion and so did Tej Pratap Yadav. Tej Pratap Yadav is an well known Indian politician and he was a
Cabinet Minister for Health in Government of Bihar. Tej Pratap Yadav was elected to the Bihar Legislative Assembly from the  Mahua constituency  as a member of
the  Rashtriya Janata Dal  (RJD) in 2015. He is the elder son of former Bihar chief minister  Lalu Prasad Yadav  and  Rabri Devi.

On 31 st july, 2018, Tej Pratap Yadav dressed up as Lord Shiva and offered prayers at a Shiva Temple in Patna before leaving for the Baidyanath Dham in Deoghar, wherein millions of pilgrims visit this shrine every year. It is famous for the mela of  Shravana, between July and August. About 7 to 9 million devotees visit the place from various parts of India and offer holy water of Ganges to the Lord Shiva deity collected from Sultanganj Today, in Patna, Tej Pratap Yadav, was seen wearing a saffron scarf along with tiger printed cloths wrapped around his waist, and he was also seen blowing a conch (shankh) and playing damru in the temple, after which he left to offer his prayers at
Deoghar in Jharkhand for Kanwar yatra for showing his devotion towards Lord Shiva, transforming himself to a religious and faithful devotee.

Thus, we can conclude quite evidently and infact it is quite pleasant that all the Politicians are turning themselves into faithful and religious devotees of various forms of God and thus pledging to become corruption-less and make our country also corrupt free and a better place to live in for the future generations to come.
