Tej Pratap Yadav is the recent sensation of Bihar. But do you know who is he? Remember Lalu Prasad Yadav, the former Chief Minister of Bihar who is currently behind the bars for his fodder scam? And remember how he used to be in the headlines for all things good or and bad? Like the times he was lauded by the World Bank in the 1990s or when he lectured at Harvard University. And, how after being arrested, he made his unlettered wife the Chief Minister of Bihar. Well, well! Ever since the old man has left us, the political arena has become quite bland and monotonous.
But set all your worries aside and stay put for his eldest son, Tej Pratap is here to spice things up a bit and to pull off a ‘Lalu Prasad’.
So, those of you who had a déjà vu, you weren’t totally wrong.
Tej Pratap Yadav is the eldest son of Lalu Prasad Yadav. He was a Cabinet Minister for Health in the Government of Bihar. He was elected to the Bihar Legislative Assembly from the Mahua constituency as a member of the Rashtriya Janta Dal in 2015.
Many of you might recognize him from his infamous and notorious threat to skin PM Narendra Modi alive for his administration’s downgrading of Lalu Prasad’s security from Z+ to Z. Well, you might be wondering as to why are we babbling about Yadav’s son, right? Now, that’s because Tej Pratap is no less than a legacy that Yadav left behind while he counts his days in jail.
He is a politician cum comedian who never fails to amuse us in making a laughingstock out of him. And why do we say that? Well, you might want to let the words speak for themselves.

Tej Pratap is known for his beliefs in divine intervention. As a former Health Minister of Bihar (in the Mahagathbandhan government), Tej Pratap was allotted 5, Deshratna Marg, a three-acre compound, as his official residence.
Earlier this year he claimed the bungalow to be haunted, and that Nitish Kumar has ghosts released them.
Now, one might never be able to comment on the supernatural part, but the explanation of why his residence is haunted is just pious claptrap.
TEJ PRATAP ASKS COW TO DEFEAT BJP AND RSS AFTER FEEDING IT FODDER.
Well, well! Get ready for yet another rollercoaster ride. Earlier this month, Tej Pratap was seen in his constituency in Mahua where he fed the cows. One might think of it as an act of kindness, but with Pratap, there’s always more to it.
While feeding the cow, he asked it to defeat BJP and RSS. After asking the cow this very question several times, it at last nodded and the supporters said that it would, in fact, beat them. Well, what came next was a series of laughter and joy.

Earlier this month, Tej Pratap Yadav displayed his rustic side by indulging in sattu, the famous Bihar delicacy in Mahua. He sat on the ground, claiming that it was the food of poor and down to earth and began the event christened ‘ Sattu Party with Tej Pratap’. He used this occasion to taunt PM Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar, asking them to eat sattu.
In Lalu’s style, he distributed small balls of sattu among people standing around.
Before eating sattu, he drove a cycle rickshaw, asking its puller to occupy the seat behind. He also bathed in the village using a bucket at a hand-pump.
I mean this hoax and the supposed display of Pratap actually caring is old politics. Why does he even try?
But, anyway, if the lad thought that he could make his way through politics just by adapting to his father’s style then he’s definitely in a pickle. I hope that with age he matures and gets some sense knocked into him.
