The maker of Ludo King: “Be patient, be kind, keep working, success will touch your feet.” This line absolutely fits the current, star entrepreneur Vikash Jaiswal, Founder of Gametion Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and maker of Ludo King. Before lockdown, Ludo King had above average traffic but amid this lockdown, traffic of it had escalated to 6 folds. And Ludo King is ranking 1 on both Android and iOS platforms.

Where did it start from?

Vikash Jaiswal was a video game lover since he was a kid. Apparently in the year 1991, all the local gaming parlors which used to be his daily dose came to a shut. From there he received an inspiration to create a video game that he could play without any boundations.

After completing his schooling he opted to be a computer engineer because he had a perception in mind that “IT Engineers earn well.” He was a kid who had a lot of creativity in the head but had few platforms to display it. He uses to make greeting cards and sell it out in stores nearby and he recalls this by quoting “Carving, cutting, designing… everything. I used to give them to local stationery and tell them to sell.

Before entering the engineering college of his choice he skilled himself in various other fields and that includes leaning animation, graphic designing, and 3D. He entered his dream engineering college in the year 1999 and began his college life. He wanted to be a successful engineer but his passion for video games somewhere resided in his heart. Being a passionate and dedicated kid he kept working. He quotes “When other people used to do time pass on their computers, I used to collect the free software that used to come free with computer magazines and explore.”

Where there’s a will there’s the way.” This quotation suits to the next happening of his life that brought him to where he is today. Amid searching for various PC Softwares he encountered a gaming software that revived within him his passion for games. With the help of that software, he created his first game overnight named Eggy Boy. This game gained popularity and won the title of being “Game of the Month.”

What happened next?

After the success of Eggy Boy, he made his way to lead his career, crystal clear. He decided to enter a gaming company for which he applied in various companies. And got a chance from a Mumbai based gaming company known as IndiaGames. To quote his journey in this new company he says “My real journey started at IndiaGames which was later sold to Disney. I continued to work there for four years.” Since he had a bug of doing things on his own he decided to start his own company.

Now coming to the present scenario and love for ludo king. The revenue generation of this game in the month of March at the beginning of the lockdown was $300,000. And in the beginning, the company has 8 servers because of which the site was crashing multiple times because it was not able to bear the traffic. Then with all the necessary changes company now works on 40 servers and ready to bear as much as traffic possible. The traffic count has escalated to 6 folds amid lockdown.

For the FY19 revenue generated was $6 million and for the FY20 is expected to reach $20 million. That is the increase to 3 folds. A great success to an immense enthusiasm.
