Woman burnt alive, the reason will make you think twice

Women burnt alive in Mumbai- In India, women are brutally raped, murdered, burnt, killed, mentally and physically tortured and a lot of things that cannot be mentioned here. What to do, this case can not be ignored as this has crossed the heights of brutality and enough for now.

The brutality with women in this country is becoming more and more. Not a single place can be mentioned, where a lady would be safe. At home, school, colleges, hospitals, temples, roads, the terror is roaming with having a mask of a gentleman.

December 2012 Delhi gang-rape convicted four men, who tortured, harassed and raped a young medical student in Delhi is close to being hanged. On Wednesday, Supreme Court dismissed the last review petition in the case, which was filed by one of the convicts. As now, convict Akshay Kumar Singh is confirmed for the death sentence, SC said he had the option of pleading for mercy before the President of the Nation and he had only seven days to do so.

But, the question here is ‘7 years for taking a decision?’, Are we seriously living in a rape country? Are we having a weak judiciary system, which takes much time in decision making? Is this really a democratic or developing country?

Stay tuned with us, at Talepost.
