History of World Laughter Day

Dr. Madan Kataria

This day was introduced to the world in 1998 by Dr. Madan Kataria he was the founder of the Worldwide Laughter Yoga movement. This day is celebrated every year on the first Sunday of May. At present, under this movement, there are thousands of Laughter Clubs spread across 105 countries.

He created this day to imbibe this laughter exercise to everyone’s life and his moto was based on the simple hypothesis of facial feedback. According to this hypothesis, the facial expressions of a person directly affect one’s emotions. This day is basically celebrated to resonate the entire globe with the feeling of peace, harmony, brotherhood, and friendship with laughter.

Should we be the part?

Yes! Why not. We definitely should be the part. We should take a step ahead in practicing and promoting this ideology of Dr. Kataria. Simple practice will change life further changing the nation further bringing global peace and harmony.

So this was all about the World Laughter Day 2020 and the hope says that every one of us will surely live to the pledge we have made.
