Early Life of Yogi Adityanath
He was born on June 5, 1972, in a Rajpoot family from Gharwal district in Uttrakhand. His childhood name was Ajay Singh and his father ‘Mahant Awaidhnath was a Mahant (abbot) at Maharaj Guru Gorakhnath Temple. After father’s death, Yogi Adityanath is the present Mahant of this temple. he is a graduate in science from HNB Gharwal University. ‘Hindu Vahini Sena’, an organization of Hindu activists form by Yogi Adityanath. This is always in news due to the controversial activities mainly criticized by non-Hindu population.
Political Career of Yogi Adityanath
Yogi Adityanath becomes the youngest political leader to join parliament after his victory in 12th Lok Sabha elections in 1998. He worked for Committee of Food, Civil Supply, Department of Sugar and Edible Oil, Ministry of Home Affairs from 1998-99. In 1999. He won in the 13th Lok Sabha elections and re-appointed on all his previous positions. In 2004 he won again from his old seat, continued to serve his previous position. In 2009 again re-elected in 15th Lok Sabha Elections, this time he joined as the member of Transportation, Tourism and Cultural Committee. During 16th parliamentary elections continues the victory journey by winning the Lok Sabha seat from Gorakhpur.
Yogi Adityanath is also the President of Hindu Mahasabha. As a Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, he is now at the biggest position in his political life. We wish him all the best for the future duties and responsibilities as CM of UP.
