Amitabh Mourning for Irffan and Rishi: We are in shock after loosing two of very renowned personalities in India Cinema. Amitabh in deep sorrow and took it on Instagram to share the mourning after losing two of his co-stars.
Irfaan Khan who was fighting with a cancer lost his battle of life at the age of 54. He was a versatile actor and made remarkable appearance in many Bollywood and Hollywood movies.
He has shown that an actor can be sucessfull on pure acting talent not just on glamours looks and dance numbers. Maqbool, Paan Singh Tomar, The Namesake, Life of Pie, Hindi Medium are few of those successful movies where Irffan’s appearance well appreciated by fans and critics.
On the other side the legendary actor Rishi Kapoor left us in shock. Amitabh Bacchan posted the picture of song from his most popular movie Amar Akbar Anthony while remembering Rishi Kappor. He wrote , “Waqt ne kiya kya haseen sitam .. Tum rahe na tum, Hum rahe na hum ..” Amitabh Mourning on lost of his younger brother Rishi Kapoor a very close friend in Bollywood.
In the post on Instagram, Amitabh Bachchan talked about “the death of an elder celebrity vs death of a younger one”.
“The death of an elder celebrity vs death of a younger… the grief of the latter more intense than that of the former… Why…? The younger more tragic?”
“Why the loss of the young seems more tragic than that of the older? Because you lament the loss of opportunity in the latter… unrealised possibilities,” wrote the thespian.
