The trailer of the movie “Dil Bechara” released on 6th July 2020 and the Mukesh Chhabra directorial is all set to release on Disney Plus Hotstar on 24th July 2020. The movie stars late Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjana Sanghi, Swastika Mukherjee, Saif Ali Khan, Javeed Jaffrey, Milind Gunaji, and Sahil Vaid. Since the time Dil Bechara Trailer has been released, it has got all the love and appreciation from the audiences.
Dil Bechara to release on 24th July on Disney Plus Hotstar
The movie, Dil Bechara was all set to be premiered on 8th May 2020. However, with this COVID-19 pandemic situation on alarm in India, it was postponed and now it will be released on Disney Plus Hotstar. The whole plot of the movie is based on the 2012 bestseller by John Green, “The Fault in Our Stars”.
It was on 25th June 2020, that the news was disclosed to the public that the last flick of Sushant Singh Rajput, “Dil Bechara” will be released on Disney Plus Hotstar on 24th July and the movie would be streaming for subscribers as well as non-subscribers.
Just when the news of the movie releasing on the OTT platform was released, Mukesh Chhabra, the director of the movie got emotional and posted on social media that he had never thought that he would have to release the movie, Dil Bechara without his dear friend Sushant Singh Rajput. With a poster of the movie, Mukesh Chhabra posted;
“Sushant was not just the hero of my debut film as a director but he was a dear friend who stood by me through thick and thin. We had been close right from Kai Po Che to Dil Bechara. He had promised me that he would be in my first film. So many plans were made together, so many dreams were dreamt together but never once did I ever imagine that I would be releasing this film without him.”
The lead actor of the movie, Sushant Singh Rajput died on 14th June 2020 by hanging himself in his Bandra Apartment. The postmortem reports and other medical reports of the actor suggests that he had committed suicide as he was battling from depression for a few months. The friends and family have still not been able to come in terms with his sudden demise and it has left a deep dent on their minds and hearts.
Mukesh Chhabra also added;
“There can be no better way to celebrate him and his talent. He always showered immense love on me while I was making it and his love will guide us as we release it. And I’m glad that the Producers have made it available for everyone to watch. We are going to love and celebrate you, my friend. I can visualize you with your beautiful smile blessing us from up above. Love you.”
People loved the trailer and got too emotional as well
The trailer of Dil Bechara was released just yesterday and since then it has been the talk of the social media town. People from outside and inside the Bollywood industry are appreciating the trailer very much. However, at the same time, they are also getting emotional that this is the last time, they are seeing Sushant Singh Rajput act in the movie. The actor along with his co-star Sanjana looks stunning on-screen and has shown sparkling chemistry with each other. If it not had been the suicide, there may have been more movies by the very talented Sushant Singh Rajput.
