Legal Notice For ‘Sanju’ Team

Sanju, a movie worth watching and currently attracting people’s heart all around world is one of the best movie currently. Hirani’s Sanju gave a blush to Ranbeer Kapoor’s career and has become his one of the best movie of all time. Sanju has already crossed the margin of 300 crore and success steps are still counting.

Sanju is basically the biography of one the fine actor in our Bollywood industry, Sanjay Dutt, his struggle throughout his life. The film beautifully carved the struggle of the actor against both the world and himself. Sanju describes the journey, ups and downs of Sanjay Dutt. This included his deadly drug addiction, which he fought bravely, calling him a terrorist which he proved he wasn’t and other small bit impactful scenes. Sanju is earning a fair amount since the release date, 29 June.

“It never happened” thing

But now it seems like one of the prominent scenes of the movie is in controversies. In one of the scenes of the movie Sanju, Sanjay Dutt takes guns from the underworld and it was shown that Abu Salem as the gangster. According to source Sanju’s team has received a legal notice regarding the same scene from Abu Salem himself. Report from a leading news agency states that the notice has been received by the team of Sanju claiming that wrong information has been provided about him in the movie.

According to the lawyer of Abu Salem:

There is a scene in the movie where Sanjay dutt confess that he possessed arms during 1993 when there was communal tension around the country, and Abu Salem never provided him with the arms and armour, as it is pictured in the movie. And the notice states that it shows a bad image of his client and presents him as a negative character. Moreover he says that his client is abused and the scenes are attacking him the worst way.

The lawyer Prashant Pandey has send this legal notice to Fox Star Studios, Raj Kumar Hirani and Vidhu vinod Chopra. It states that neither it is what actually happened nor his client gave Sanjay dutt any armour. He says his client never did that. It was showed in a way that some way or the other made Salem to react brutally.

Abu Salem is currently in jail for being involved in 1993 Bombay blast case. He is life sentenced under this case.
