BIGG BOSS SEASON 1: ARSHAD WARSI
The very first season of BB was started in 2006 on Sony Entertainment Television and was hosted very well by the most popular and entertaining Bollywood actors named as Arshad Warsi. The show was started on 3rd November 2006 and continued for about 86 days till 26th January 2007. About 15 inmates were housed together in season 1 and Rahul Roy was the winner.
BIGG BOSS SEASON 2: SHILPA SHETTY
The second season of BB was hosted by Shilpa Sherry who replaced Arshad Warsi. This time the show ran for about 98 days from 17th August 2008 to 22nd November 2008. The show was started with about 15 contestants and gained an average TRP of 2.8 9 and the entire show was won by Ashutosh Kaushik.
BIGG BOSS SEASON 3: AMITABH BACHCHAN
The most popular and reputed TV actor, Amitabh Bachchan hosted the BB Season 3 which continued for about 84 days from 4th October 2009 to 26th December 2009 by winning an average TRP of 2.83 and the show was won by Vindu Dara Singh.
BIGG BOSS SEASON 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11: SALMAN KHAN
Season 4 was the highest TRP gaining show and it was about 5.15 which was hosted by Salman Khan. The show gained a lot of popularity and thus he was again invited to host the seasons 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11.
BIGG BOSS SEASON 5: SANJAY DUTT & SALMAN KHAN
Season 5 was started with about 18 participants and was hosted by both Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. It continued for about 98 days from 2nd October 2011 to 7th January 2012. The show was won by the popular TV actress, Juhi Parmar.
