14th Feb is not just Valentine’s Day but the birth anniversary of Bollywood’s most loving diva too. Yes, we are talking about the ultimate beauty Madhubala. She was born on 14th February 1933 in Delhi during the British era. Madhubala played many popular characters in Bollywood films but she will be remembered as Anarkali for her iconic performance in film Mughal-E-Azam.
Her great acting talent led her to the biggest popularity of any Indian actress and she was also known as ‘Beauty with Tragedy’ and ‘The Venus of Indian Cinema’.
Madhubala Died In Search of Love
Her personal life wasn’t so great, and therefore she died at a very young age of 36. Failed in love with actor Dilip Kumar, Madhubala spent her last days in deep sorrow of loneliness.
She Died on 23 February 1969 due to heart disease, Madhubala worked in some of the great films of India cinema like Falgun, Hawara Bridge, Kaala Paani, Chalti Ka Nam Gari and the epic Mughal-E-Azam, her last movie was Jalwa which released after two years of her demise.
