Nawabzaade song – Tere Naal Nachna: Athiya Shetty’s rock with Badshah viral on TV

Athiya Shetty who was recently seen in Mubarakan makes a special appearance in Nawabzaade’s Tere Naal Nachna.

Due to an increase in what seems to be a “Live Fast, Die Young” lifestyle, the youth has been leaning-in towards a much fun style of living. This includes drinking and partying until dawn. This puts the limelight on the fact that Bollywood numbers are much more in demand than Hollywood EDMs, due to the “Desi” factor which is very catchy. Catering to this, Bollywood has been releasing many party numbers. The “Kala Chashma” hit-maker – Badshah, who is now considered to be one of the top rappers in the country has teamed up with the filmmakers of Nawabzaade and has released yet another party number, Tere Naal Nachna.

Hit on the chartbusters

Tere Naal Nachna features Athiya Shetty along with Badshah and has already reached 15 million views in 2 days since it’s release! The song has been choreographed by the director, Remo D’Souza himself, and composed by Badshah. The singers include Sunanda Sharma and Badshah himself. Along with Athiya and Badshah, others who groove in the song are Punit Pathak, Raghav Juyal, Isha Rikhi, and Dharmesh Yelande.

Remo D’Souza was quoted while talking to Hindustan Times about the movie, he says “I did two films with the three of them — ABCD: Any Body Can Dance (2013) and ABCD 2 (2015). I saw they had a lot more talent [than what was shown on the screen]. I want them to grow, so a film featuring just the three of them will be apt.”
Athiya Shetty made her debut with Hero opposite Sooraj Pancholi and was recently seen in Mubarakan where she absolutely stole the show. While Badshah is credited with many amazing songs released in the past couple of years, including – Saturday Saturday, Tareefan, The Breakup Song, Tamma Tamma and many more.

Experimentation in releasing the trailer later

The filmmakers of Nawabzaade are trying something unique by first releasing the songs instead of the trailer, in order to create a buzz. The first song of nawabzaade which was recently released was a reprised version of Guru Randhawa’s High Rated Gabru featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan. This video also garnered a whopping 44 Million in a week! Athiya was seen making a guest appearance in the same.

Athiya Shetty, speaking about Remo, told Mumbai Mirror “I love working with Remo sir. He’s my favorite. He’s one of the nicest people to work with. He always spreads such positive energy on his set. He pushes you to do your absolute best. I’ve always been a huge fan of Badshah’s music.”

Gives you a reason to groove on to the dance floor

The song fits right in with the recent trend of Bollywood of party songs more than soulful ones. The song is typically a Badshah song, based on drinking and partying. While Athiya is said to be the main performer in the song, one just cannot overlook Remo’s Trinity – Raghav Juyal, Dharmesh Yelande, and Punit Pathak. All the elements make the song as glamorous and eye-catching as possible. Tere Naal Nachna is said to be the opening credits’ song and while Athiya does feature in the song, she’s not in the movie. Also, while Varun and Shraddha are the leads in the movie, they are not featured in the song.
