Just a few weeks before Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Bald-Man’ character hits the theater in the movie Bala, he has received some pre-release completion. The Pyaar ka Punchnama fame, Sunny Singh has delivered a hilarious trailer of his upcoming movie- Ujda Chaman (a slang used to baldness). The movie is produced by Panorama Studios and is directed by debutante Abhishek Pathak who had previously produced both the Pyaar ka Punchnama films. Apart from Sunny Singh, the film also stars Aishwarya Sakhuja and Saurabh Shukla.
Sunny Singh’s character is a 30-year-old man who is suffering pre-mature baldness and goes through mid-life crises. On the verge of marriage and companionship, it is hard for him to find love due to the elderly personality. He looks way too elderly then his actual age and it’s all about how he is failing to find his love once after the other. With his natural comic timing, his stint onscreen is very pleasing just like in his previous films (Pyaar ka Punchnama 2 and Sonu Ke Titu ki Sweety).
Sourabh Shukla comes in as a family astrologer and predicts that if Sunny does not get married before 31st birthday, then he is going to remain unmarried forever. This brings in more tension and chaos in his life. The harder he tries to get a girl to marry, the harder he falls. Therefore, his struggle with women continues.
The movie is coming up with many excellent supporting actors list. Karishma Sharma, who is been seen in many online shows and cameos in films also plays a comic role in the film. As she tries to motivate him, she ends up demotivating him even more. The other character that can be seen in the film is, Gagan Arora. He has been in and around the YouTube comedy series for some time now. Especially after his series ‘College Dairies’, he is a known comic actor. He is playing Sunny’s brother in the film and will surely have a lot of humor in his character.
