Kerala still remains submerged amidst the flood-water and continues to cause havoc and state of panic among the people of the state- once so beautiful. These un-invited floods have caused a lot of massive destruction to the whole state, adversely affecting its economy. Witnessing this alarming situation of Kerala, India many foreign governments have extended a helping hand and offered to donate donations in the project- “Rebuild Kerala”. India though, grateful for this generous help, refuse to accept any donations for the same.
Countries like the UAE, Qatar, and the Maldives have offered to help in this project of reconstructing and donations to rebuild Kerala. According to the reports, India was highly obliged by this helping hand but, rather decided not to accept any donations. India is all set to achieve this project with their own funds and donations.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the generous Prime Minister of UAE had offered to donate a huge amount of more than INR 700 Crore to Kerala. This step was taken after keeping the ties of UAE and India as well as Dubai and Kerala in consideration. After being offered with this gentle action, PM Narendra Modi Ji and the CM of Kerala in their latest tweet thanked their efforts
Qatar has pledged to offer a sum of INR 355 Crore to aid Kerala in such an alarming situation and the Maldives have offered $50,000 as a donation to help India in their project.
As the floods in Kerala continues to create more difficulties for its people, causing more deaths and destructions everywhere in the state.
The Indian Army, Navy, State-Police and other governmental, as well as non-governmental agencies, have taken up the task to relieve people from floods by constructing relief camps and helping the people in need.
There has been an extreme shortage of food and clean drinking water, as floods have also taken away the daily needs and livelihood of the people.
